As I was playing with some of the new CM digital artwork this week, I thought it would be fun to give some little gifts and CM samples out at Christmastime, so I whipped up some fold-over tags using the … Continue reading

Hi everyone, and thanks for joining the Creative Life Scrapbookers’ blog hop this month! To find out more about what we’re doing and what’s coming up, you should like our Facebook page. 🙂
If you’re hopping through all our blogs, you probably arrived here from D. Brinsley’s Memory Keeping Blog. Read through to the bottom of this post to find your next stop!
Even though I don’t usually scrapbook Valentine’s Day stuff (honestly, I’m not a big fan of the holiday…it comes from many years of singlehood…but that’s a story for another time), I do really enjoy the colors that come along with the day!
Since I knew I wouldn’t be making a layout, I had to find another fun way to use some of my new crafty stuff. I noodled on a few ideas, but nothing seemed quite awesome enough.
One day, while drinking my Diet Coke with lunch, it struck me that these little 12oz bottles would be adorable repurposed and decorated as Valentine gifts for the kids my husband and I teach each week at church. INSPIRATION!
This past Saturday was CM’s second Virtual Crop on Facebook, and we had over 1,000 people “attend” from locations all over the world!
The theme “Love Is in the Air” was the perfect way to showcase the new, limited edition Watercolor Love items (paper and embellishments), and we had one new challenge each hour — it’s a really fun way to try out new techniques and projects and also see what everybody else is doing with those challenges! I hosted the last challenge, and it was kinda “out of the box” (or “out of the album,” if you will): make a Treat Basket!
You’ve made it to the last stop on our CM Halloween Blog Hop! (If you’re visiting everybody in order, you should have arrived here from Diana Brinsley’s blog.)
It has been SO FUN seeing all of the ideas that everyone has shared for Halloween pages and decorations using CM products and tools!
